SoccerSquirts
Football first kicks for 3-5 year olds!
Our SoccerSquirts Foundation football programme is aimed at children in Nursery and Reception school years.
The programme focuses on improving fundamental movements, learning basic football skills and having tons of fun!

Children will have hundreds of touches of the ball in each and every session and will play small sided matches of 3v3 or 4v4, preparing them for when they progress into the SoccerSquirts Development Programme.

The SoccerSquirts Development Programme is for children in Year One and helps prepare players for organised football in Mini-Soccer 5v5 format. Players will use the programme to continue to enhance their skills and then progress into one of our Under 6 teams at Essex Rangers FC.

Our Football Pathway
Essex Rangers Team Training

Age specific and planned weekly practice for children aged 6 - 14 years
Our unique partnership with Essex Rangers FC allows us to conduct team training across all of their teams with fully qualified coaching staff.

Players spend two years in each playing format, 5v5, 7v7, 9v9 & 11v11.
Age specific and planned practice sessions are delivered every Saturday morning to help players understand and learn the game and we adopt suitable coaching styles and interventions at the initial learning phase.

There are vast opportunities for players to showcase their potential in training and games!

Soccerkids works closely with the club to support all managers and coaches to ensure continuity within practice and games. Furthermore, we always encourage all players to make their own decisions and to play without stress.
Soccerkids Football Academy
Advanced additional training
Players can access extra individual and small group training sessions through our Soccerkids Football Academy programme which has a direct link to the Charlton Athletic Football Academy.

During the week, players from different clubs can attend to receive high quality coaching and progress within their own individual player pathways.

Feedback and analysis can be provided for players to aid with their development along with visits to Charlton for organised games.
